Defense tech: the sector that's accelerating

1 min read

The U.S. Army announced a 10-year contract with Anduril worth up to $20 billion — the largest enterprise deal ever awarded to a VC-backed defense startup.

The Army described this as a single enterprise contract consolidating more than 120 separate "procurement actions" for Anduril's commercial solutions. According to the announcement, the contract starts with a five-year base period, with the option to extend for an additional five years, and it covers Anduril hardware, software, infrastructure, and services — all centered on the company's AI-enabled Lattice platform.
